Did you know you can easily re-hydrate dried fruit, such as mangoes, to make some of your favourite smoothie recipes? Try this recipe for instance, a tropical ice cold drink to chill out with on a hot summer afternoon.
8 pieces of Dried Mangoes
1/2 teaspoon of orange blossom water
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
1/2 cup of ice
1 cup of almond milk
1/4 cup of water
Add the soaked mango slices, orange blossom water, maple syrup, ice cubes, almond milk and a bit of the water from the mango bowl in the blender. Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds).
Soak the dried mango slices in a large quantity of water for at least 30 minutes. You can keep the water to add to your smoothie if you desire.
