This delicious caramel recipe is 100% vegan. Drizzle it on your favourites like crepes, pancakes, yogurt or ice cream, or dip your apple slices in it! Directions
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except pecans and salt.
Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat until the caramel has thickened.
Remove from heat and add finely chopped pecans and sea salt. Mix well.
Pour the caramel into small glass containers
Store up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
To soften a bit before use, heat in a double-boiler or microwave for a few seconds.
