Did you know?
20g of chia (2 tbsp) meets 230% to 350% of your daily plant-based omega-3 (ALA). Since the body isn’t capable of building this type of fatty acid, it’s important to get a good quantity of it in your diet. Chia seeds are a good source of healthy fats and a quarter of this is ALA fatty acids.
Chia is so easy to integrate to your diet, and you don’t have to grind them to get their benefits. Their taste is mild and won’t alter the flavour of your dishes. Add chia to your favourite cereal, yogurt, smoothies, juices, cakes, soups, sauces, salads, dressings. You can also make delicious chia puddings with them! Here's our ultimate recipe for chia pudding.
Do you have an egg allergy?
Chia seeds are an excellent substitute for eggs! Soak 1 tablespoon of ground chia seeds in 3 tablespoons of water for each egg your recipe requires. Whole chia can be used but for best results, use ground chia.

I LOVE THESE CHIA SEEDS. MY MOM AND I HAVE CHIA SEED PUDDING EVERYDAY
Chia seeds are very useful and versatile. I've purchased chia seeds from other vendors before that were bitter. The Prana chia seeds are never bitter, and always perfect. Highly recommend this product for its reliability, and usefulness
I use many different Prana products, but the chia seeds are what I use most. As I suffer from a chronic autoimmune disease, I have to follow an anti-inflammatory diet and thus have many dietary restrictions. Chia seeds are my main source of Omega 3 and they are so versatile. I use them every day and in many different ways: in smoothies, to make jam and porridge, in a recipe for crackers...They’re amazing!
